We are so stoked to offer this 4-day trip in Utah which includes hikes in the beautiful parks of Zion and Bryce Canyon. The trip boasts stunning views of hoodoos, rust-colored valleys, and nature-made keyholes that will leave you speechless. We will do some iconic hikes including the West Rim Trail that will give us views of Angel's Landing! You are sure to make some unforgettable memories on this trip!

Plan to arrive at the Las Vegas Airport by 2:00pm on October 24th and your amazing Chicas Abroad guide will pick you up in the honorary Chicas van for the weekend. We don't waste any time and we will depart Sin City to begin our drive to Springdale, UT. Here we will be having a scrumptious welcome dinner followed by a relaxing and restful evening to charge up for the exciting weekend we have ahead!

We will enjoy breakfast and coffee before loading up the van! We will be stoked to get out on our first hike of the trip! Our first trail of the day is Scout Lookout via the West Rim Trail. This hike is stunning and does not lack expansive views the whole duration of the trail. Part of this hike includes the famous Walter's Wiggles which is a segment of the trail made up of several tight switchbacks. This surely will get you breathing hard! Our trek ends at Scout Lookout where we will be able to see Angel's Landing, another iconic point in Zion National Park. After hiking the trail we will have a picnic lunch in the park and continue on to the next trailhead which will be selected by your guide depending on how much time we have available (this will be an easy hike with minimal elevation since it follows a rather difficult hike).
Once we are finished hiking we will hop back in the van and make our way to Bryce Canyon City. Upon arrival we will check into our new accommodations and have a group dinner.
Hiking: Scout Lookout via West Rim Trail; Hard 3.6 miles, 1,115' elevation gain (~2.5 hours to complete). Additional easy hike will be selected by your guide.

Today we will be up with the birds to catch the sunrise in Bryce Canyon National Park! After, we will have some brekkie and then head to our trailhead. We will be hiking the Figure 8 trail. As implied by the name, this is a loop trail that is in the shape of an 8. There will be no shortage of beautiful changing landscapes over the 6.3 miles of this hike. And of course Hoodoos for miles! We will take our time on this hike since we have all day and it is a stunning track so you'll want time to take in all the beauty!
After this stunner of a hike we will head back to the hotel to wash up and rest a bit before leaving to go and explore Bryce Canyon City. The town has lots of souvenir shops so we can get some touristy goodies before heading to dinner.
Hiking: Figure 8 Trail, moderate, 6.3 miles, 1500' elevation gain (~4 hours to complete) Accommodations: Bryce Canyon City Hotel
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks
In the morning we will pack up to prepare to return to Las Vegas. On the way there we will drive through the Valley of Fire State Park and if there is time, we will do a short hike to break up the long drive and stretch our legs.
We will arrive at the Las Vegas Airport (LAS) by 1:00 pm, so plan to book your return flight after 3:00 pm. At this point we will end our amazing weekend of adventures and say our goodbyes.
Hiking (if time allows): Fire Wave Trail (Easy) - 1.5 miles, 236 ft elevation gain
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks
1 night at a hotel in Springdale, Utah
2 nights at cabins in Bryce Canyon City

Meals are included as outlined in the itinerary, plus we will always have snacks on board. Water and other non-alcoholic beverages will be included with all meals. You will be able to purchase additional drinks or alcohol at our dinners. Our goal is to support local businesses as much as possible.
Please let us know if you have any dietary restrictions and we will accommodate. Be prepared to supplement the included meals with your favorite snacks.
The hikes that we have planned for this trip are rated as moderate-hard. Be prepared for substantial elevation gain over a short distance. You will want to be in decent hiking shape before this trip (30 min/mile on average). We will not be rushed and have the ability to stop for breaks or take a slow pace, but we want to make sure everyone is at a similar level so we can stay close together during the hike.
The best way to train for the hikes in store would be to go for walks of equal distance and try to train for elevation gain if possible (hiking uphill or using a stair climber at a gym are a couple of ways). Comfortable hiking boots/shoes and a reliable daypack are a priority.
A detailed packing list will provided upon registration. You will need a daypack that carries a minimum of 2 liters of water, plus sturdy hiking boots/shoes.
