What is Chicas Abroad?

Chicas Abroad began in 2021 as a small group of friends that loved to travel together. We loved experiencing new things and places and wanted to invite all active women to experience the same awe and wonder of this amazing earth! Solo women, girlfriends, sisters, mother and daughters, you’re all welcome to join us on these adventures! Even if you come alone, you will soon make new friends for life on these small group adventures.

Our mission is to take you on life-changing adventures around the globe. We curate adventurous itineraries that will show you the highlights of the destination, plus get off the beaten path and really experience the culture, the food, the people, and the nature.

Chicas Abroad has successfully taken women on trips around the world since 2021 and we’re continually adding new destinations. We’d love to have you join us on an adventure!

Our Mission Statement

At Chicas Abroad, we empower women to break free from their comfort zones, embark on life-changing adventures, and connect with a supportive community of like-minded explorers. We curate transformative travel experiences that inspire personal growth, foster deep friendships, and challenge boundaries — all while discovering the world’s most incredible destinations. Our mission is to help women embrace their strength, adventure boldly, and create lasting memories that redefine what’s possible, both within themselves and in the world around them.

How Does This Work?

Chicas Abroad selects their destinations based on the team’s favorite places they’ve been, plus their bucket-list destinations. We also take requests from our Chicas Abroad followers in our Facebook group. We often post polls asking people about their dream destinations.

After a location for the trip is chosen, the process begins for our Guides to determine where we should stay, eat, and explore. Our team puts together an itinerary that is well researched and thoroughly thought through.

Take a look at our upcoming trips and get signed up, we have limited spots available. Our trips are accessible from anywhere – we will announce an initial meeting place at our destination. All you have to do is get yourself there, and then the adventure is on!

Greetings, Chicas! I am an Esthetician and love to travel! I don’t mind if it’s Stateside or International. I enjoy people and experiencing different cultures, whether it’s a lively city or a chill countryside. Beauty is everywhere, you just have to look for it!

I’m a college student and barista who loves traveling whenever I get the chance. I live in the beautiful PNW where I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, and exploring!

I'm a world traveler and love to explore remote places! I recently spent two years living in Queensland, Australia where I spent a lot of time doing outdoor activities such as hiking and visiting waterfalls. I currently live in Lancaster, UK.
