Your adventure will include a thrilling e-bike tour through scenic vineyards, where you’ll pedal your way from one picturesque winery to the next. And to top it off, we’ll enjoy a refreshing hike through the stunning countryside, surrounded by breathtaking views.

Highlights
Activity Level: Easy to Moderate
We will be walking through the vineyards to enjoy wine-tasting and doing a 15 mile e-bike which will be easy for experienced bike riders and potentially moderate level for those who haven’t been on a bike in a while (gotta get those sitz bones in shape!).
There will be a beginner-friendly 7.3 mile hike that is mostly flat with a total of 364 feet elevation.
Weather
Weather in Walla Walla in May is beautiful with daily high temperatures from 69°F to 76°F, rarely falling below 59°F or exceeding 89°F. It’s a perfect time to enjoy the vineyards and enjoy wine, biking, and hiking!

All the excursions listed in the itinerary are included. Bring cash/credit cards for purchasing souvenirs, additional snacks/meals, alcoholic drinks, extra activities, and other items.All gratuities are included with the exception of those for your Chicas Abroad tour leader. Tipping the Chicas Abroad tour leader is optional and not included in the price of your adventure.

Day 1-Arrive Walla Walla
May 8 – Arrive in Spokane and transfer to Walla Walla
Arriving by air? No problem! Plan to land at Spokane Airport (code GEG) by 2:00 PM on May 8th, and get ready for an unforgettable start to your getaway. Your fabulous Chicas Abroad guide will greet you with a warm welcome and whisk you away in the iconic Chicas van for a scenic drive to our stunning vacation home in Walla Walla.
Once you arrive, we’ll kick off the weekend in style with a delectable welcome dinner, featuring delicious local cuisine and great company. Afterward, enjoy a peaceful and relaxing evening to unwind and recharge, so you’re ready to dive into all the exciting adventures we have planned for the weekend ahead.
This is just the beginning of a truly unforgettable experience!

Day 2 - eBike Vineyards
May 9 – Watch balloons launch, eBike through vineyards, wine-tasting
Get ready for an unforgettable day of adventure and awe! We’ll rise early, coffee in hand, to set off for the spectacular hot air balloon launch. As the sky comes alive with vibrant balloons soaring into the morning light, you’ll be captivated by this breathtaking sight—the perfect way to kickstart a day full of excitement and discovery.
Once the balloons have taken flight, we’ll indulge in a mouthwatering brunch to fuel up for our next adventure—an exhilarating e-bike ride through the heart of Walla Walla’s picturesque vineyards. Pedaling through rolling wheat fields and lush vines, you’ll be surrounded by the stunning beauty of the Blue Mountains, creating a backdrop so stunning, it feels like a dream. With the wind in our hair and the sun warming our faces, this is cycling at its finest.
Along the way, we’ll stop at some of the area’s most renowned tasting rooms, where you’ll savor the finest local wines, each sip a celebration of the region’s rich heritage and flavors. Whether you’re a wine connoisseur or a casual enthusiast, every stop promises a new discovery.
After our thrilling ride, we’ll take some time to relax and recharge before returning to the skies for the evening balloon launch. Watch in awe as the balloons light up against the twilight sky, creating a stunning spectacle of color and light—a truly magical experience to end a perfect day.

Day 3-Will Hike for Wine
May 10 – Wildflower hike and more wine-tasting
After a delicious breakfast to fuel up, we’ll lace up our hiking boots and set off on a thrilling adventure through one of the most scenic trails just outside Walla Walla. This 7.3-mile trek promises awe-inspiring views of rolling vineyards, majestic mountains, and—if we’re lucky—the sight of vibrant hot air balloons drifting lazily through the morning sky. The path is flat and easy, but the beauty surrounding us is anything but. Picture yourself walking through a kaleidoscope of wildflowers in full bloom, their colors bursting against the stunning backdrop of nature. With every step, the charm of Walla Walla unfolds in front of you, making this hike an unforgettable way to immerse yourself in the region’s breathtaking landscapes.
After working up a healthy appetite and soaking in all the natural beauty, we’ll shift gears to something equally indulgent—an afternoon of wine tasting! We’ll visit some of Walla Walla’s top vineyards, where we’ll sip on award-winning wines, each pour a reflection of the region’s rich terroir. As we enjoy these expertly crafted wines, we’ll take in the gorgeous surroundings and learn about the art of winemaking from local experts. Day 4-Waterfall & Depart
Palouse Falls & Transport back to Spokane for depatures
We’ll start our final day with a leisurely breakfast at our cozy vacation home, surrounded by good company and the serene atmosphere of Walla Walla. It’s the perfect time to reflect on the memories we’ve made, share laughter, and enjoy the camaraderie of our wonderful group of women before we pack up and hit the road.
But before we say goodbye to this unforgettable getaway, we’ve got one more thrilling stop in store—an adventure to the stunning Palouse Falls. Tucked away in the remote wilderness, this hidden gem is one of nature’s best-kept secrets. As we approach, the sight of the powerful waterfall plunging into the deep gorge below will leave you breathless. It’s a moment of pure awe and wonder—one of those rare, surreal experiences that feels like a shared secret among friends.
The beauty of Palouse Falls will be the perfect way to cap off our time together, offering a final dose of nature’s grandeur and tranquility. With the sound of the falls echoing in the background, it’s a chance to savor the last moments of our adventure, knowing that these memories—shared laughter, stunning sights, and the bonds formed—will stay with you long after we head back to Spokane.

Travel insurance is highly recommend to cover any unforeseen events. Chicas Abroad will provide you with a link to our recommended carrier upon booking, but you may choose any carrier.

Your Chicas Abroad tour leader works countless hours before and during the trip to ensure a seamless experience so you can adventure more and worry less! $30-40 per day is typical and much appreciated

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at booking, with 2 additional payments of $625 due in February and March. Please contact us if you’d like a custom payment plan set up.
Our vacation home includes 7 bedrooms with a variety of King and Queen beds. Each guest will have her own bed.
