About this trip
Get ready for the ultimate Oregon adventure! Over the course of four unforgettable days, you’ll immerse yourself in the stunning beauty and diverse landscapes of this incredible state.
We kick things off in central Oregon, where the vibrant tulip fields burst into bloom in a kaleidoscope of colors. Imagine walking through endless rows of these gorgeous flowers, with the scent of spring in the air and the mountains looming in the background. From there, we’ll lace up our hiking boots for an epic journey through the lush Columbia River Gorge, where we’ll trek to 11 stunning waterfalls—each one more breathtaking than the last. Feel the mist from the roaring falls as you snap photos of the dramatic scenery.
Next, we head west to the rugged Oregon coastline, where the Pacific Ocean awaits! 🌊 Along the way, we’ll keep our eyes peeled for migrating gray whales that pass by on their annual journey. If we’re lucky, we might even catch a glimpse of these majestic creatures breaching the waves. 🐋
After that, we’ll indulge in a tour of the famous Tillamook Creamery, where we’ll savor the freshest, creamiest cheese and ice cream you’ve ever tasted—because, what’s an Oregon adventure without a little local flavor?
We wrap up this unforgettable journey in Cannon Beach, home to the iconic Haystack Rock. Picture yourself strolling along the shoreline, the crashing waves at your feet, and the towering rock formations rising from the sea. With the ocean breeze in your hair and the sun setting behind the cliffs, it’s the perfect end to a whirlwind adventure.

Highlights
Activity Level: Easy to Moderate
We will do two moderate-level hikes that are 2.5 miles and 7.5 miles. There is also an optional 3 mile hike on the final morning that is also moderate-level. To fully enjoy this adventure, you will need to train for these hikes and be able to average a 20-25 minute/mile hiking pace. You might consider bringing trekking poles to assist on the hikes.
Weather
The weather in Oregon is unpredictable in April (or truly year round). We are hoping to see highs in the 60s (maybe even 70s), and lows in the 40s-50s. Rain is typical, but you never know! It’s advisable that you watch the weather and pack accordingly and always plan for rain. When we did this trip in April 2024, we had spectacular sunny weather the entire weekend, so keep your fingers crossed that this repeats in 2025!

All the excursions listed in the itinerary are included. Bring cash/credit cards for purchasing souvenirs, additional snacks/meals, alcoholic drinks, extra activities, and other items.All gratuities are included with the exception of those for your Chicas Abroad tour leader. Tipping the Chicas Abroad tour leader is optional and not included in the price of your adventure.

Day 1-Arrive in Oregon
Apr 10 – Multnomah Falls Hike and Transport to Silverton
Arrive in Portland by noon and get ready to kick off an adventure like no other! Whether you’re coming from the airport or you’ve arrived a day early to settle in, our Chicas shuttle will whisk you away from your hotel and head straight to our first jaw-dropping destination: Multnomah Falls!
Feel the excitement build as we approach the majestic Multnomah Falls, Oregon’s tallest and most iconic waterfall. We’ll take a short but exhilarating hike to the top of the falls, where you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the cascading water and the lush forest below. It’s the perfect way to stretch our legs and kick off the adventure ahead.
After our waterfall adventure, we’ll hop back on the shuttle and make our way to the charming town of Silverton, where our stunning hotel awaits. Check-in, unwind, and then gather together for a delicious dinner to fuel up for tomorrow’s exciting hikes. From stunning waterfalls to cozy evenings, today sets the tone for an unforgettable adventure with amazing women, breathtaking views, and memories that will last a lifetime

Day 2 - Hiking & Tulips
Apr 11 – Waterfall Hike and Tiptoeing through the Tulips
Get ready for an action-packed day in the stunning Oregon wilderness! We’ll kick things off bright and early with a 7.5-mile adventure that will have you feeling the thrill of nature every step of the way. Picture this: ten jaw-dropping waterfalls, each more magnificent than the last. These aren’t just any waterfalls — we’re talking towering cascades that will leave you in awe. Some are so massive, you can even walk behind them and experience the power of the water from every angle! The hike is moderate, with a 1,200-foot elevation gain, giving you the perfect mix of challenge and reward as we explore this incredible landscape.
Once we’ve soaked in the natural beauty, we’ll refuel with a quick, delicious lunch at South Falls Café. Afterward, we’ll head back to the hotel to freshen up, then dive straight into Oregon’s most iconic scene — the vibrant tulip fields! You’ll be walking through an endless sea of colorful blooms, capturing photo after photo in this painter’s palette of petals. The rows upon rows of tulips will have you feeling like you’re stepping into a fairytale. And if you’re up for an extra dash of adventure, we have the incredible optional tethered hot air balloon ride (weather permitting) that offers a breathtaking aerial view of the fields — imagine drifting high above the tulips, with the sun setting behind you. 🪶🎈
To wrap up this epic day, we’ll gather for a delicious dinner at a local Silverton restaurant, where we’ll swap stories, toast to our adventures, and bask in the memories of a truly unforgettable day!

Day 3-Oregon Coast
Apr 12 – Whale Watching, Tillamook Creamery, and Beach Time
Today is an adventure-packed day along the stunning Oregon Coast, where we’ll be surrounded by natural beauty at every turn! Our first stop takes us to Depoe Bay, the whale watching capital of the Oregon Coast! We’ll board a boat and venture out into the deep blue to search for the magnificent gray whales as they migrate along the coastline. Get ready for jaw-dropping moments as we catch a glimpse of these massive creatures breaching the surface — it’s truly one of nature’s most awe-inspiring sights!
After our whale-watching adventure, we’ll have some time to explore the charming seaside shops of Depoe Bay. From quaint boutiques to oceanfront art galleries, there’s plenty to browse and explore. Then, we’ll indulge in a delicious seafood lunch at one of the town’s famous restaurants — think fresh, ocean-to-table dishes that’ll have you savoring every bite.
Next up: Tillamook Creamery! Here, you’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at how their world-famous cheese is made, and you can even watch the cheese-packing process on the factory floor. But that’s not all — we’ll enjoy a cheese-tasting session (hello, cheesy heaven!), and of course, no visit to Tillamook is complete without a scoop of their iconic Tillamook ice cream!
Our final destination for the day is the picturesque Cannon Beach, one of Oregon’s most beautiful coastal gems. With its dramatic rock formations and miles of sandy shoreline, it’s the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of the Pacific. For those feeling adventurous, you can dip your toes into the cool waters of the ocean, or simply enjoy the beach’s stunning views as we make our way to a spot to watch the sunset over the sparkling sea.
As the sun sets on our epic day, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner, celebrating the unforgettable moments and new friendships we’ve made along the way. It’s the perfect end to a day of discovery, exploration, and pure magic along the Oregon Coast!

Day 4- Cannon Beach
Apr 13 – Morning at Cannon Beach; Depart Portland in Afternoon
Your last morning in beautiful Cannon Beach is all about soaking in the magic of the Oregon Coast before we head back to Portland. Whether you’re an early riser or prefer a slower start, today’s about enjoying your own pace.
Sleep in and savor the moment, or for the early birds, take a morning walk along the beach, feeling the sand between your toes as the waves crash against the shore — a perfect way to reflect on the adventure we’ve had! If you’re up for a bit more of a challenge, join us for an optional 3-mile hike through one of the nearby state parks, where you’ll hike through lush forests, get a panoramic view of the coast, and enjoy the fresh air before we wrap up our journey.
Afterward, we’ll begin our journey back to Portland, so be sure to plan your departure flight for 3:00pm or later.
It’s been a trip filled with stunning landscapes, unforgettable experiences, and laughter shared with amazing people. Let’s savor the last few moments of this incredible journey before heading home!

A $500 non-refundable deposit is due at booking. The remaining balance is due by February 18. Please contact us if you’d like to set up a custom payment plan.
This price is for a double-occupancy room. If you are traveling alone, we will pair you with another Chica. There are a limited number of single-occupancy rooms available as an add-on option.
